Every link names the document it came from.

Four kinds of origin, and the graph says which one each link is. Three are filings a company made to a government. The fourth is a vendor list, and it is marked as a vendor list rather than blended in with the rest — which is the part most relationship data leaves out.

Each link also carries two dates: when it became true, and when we could first know it. That second one is what makes a backtest honest, and it is the one most relationship data quietly leaves out.
